Commercial Warehouse Floor Renovation
We recently undertook a project at a commercial warehouse in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, involving the application of 380m2 of C30 strength Cemfloor at a depth of 40mm. Our goal was to renovate the client’s damp and old concrete slab, ensuring it was robust enough to withstand vehicular traffic.
Project Case Study:
Commercial Warehouse Floor Renovation – Cemfloor Screeding
Client’s Needs:
The client required a durable solution to renovate their damp and deteriorating concrete slab. They needed a floor that could support the weight of vehicles while offering long-term durability.
Our Solution:
We applied a Resin Damp proof membrane and sand scatter to prepare the surface for the installation of a bonded high-performance cement-based liquid flow screed. This bonded screed provided superior strength and performance compared to unbonded screeds, meeting the client’s requirements for a robust flooring solution.
Project Execution:
The bonded screed was applied meticulously, ensuring a smooth and level surface across the entire 380m2 area. This not only enhanced the aesthetics of the warehouse but also significantly improved its functionality and durability.
